What comes to your mind when you look at the above picture? 

I guess something in the uniformity of the search results made me realise just up to what level we are impacted by subliminal narratives nesting in our minds, based on taking the popular as the reference. My neutral search for “entrepreneurship quotes” returned quotes by mostly 1) famous, 2) American, or better: Silicon Valley, 3) white 4) males in 5) tech, which stands so far away from my own personal reality.

We know that entrepreneurship is by no means limited to sector, geographical location, gender or race… yet nevertheless thanks to the omni-present stereotypical narratives I regularly fail to identify with being a true startup founder.

I guess here’s to breaking the ultimate status quo!
