Every other day we see articles in the news predicting a horrid future for anyone who isn’t a robot, like this one:

I personally love technology and have even started the import and implementation of a few world-leading innovations here in East Africa, hence have every incentive to make these A.I., IoT and Robotics solutions seem like they’re taking over the world.

Call me naive, but I simply don’t believe in that scenario…

SPARK OF THE DAY

It is true that many jobs will be taken over by technology, what I don’t believe is that that has to result in job loss: for me it means you can now outsource the brainless tasks and concentrate on value add – no matter your type of job.

Narrowing it down to entrepreneurship: you have to be switched on to see the opportunity to bring value… because if you don’t offer value, your business will not last anyway: emerging technologies will just accelerate that road to failure.
