It’s time to embrace the 4-hour workday

Yesterday I read some very exciting news: Spain is about to pilot a 4-day workweek.
“Spain is one of the countries where workers put in more hours than the European average. But we’re not among the most productive countries.”
~ Iñigo Errejón of Más País – read the inspiring story as told in FastCompany
Interesting!
Living in Kenya, I can testify that Kenyans are even more hardworking than the Spanish, drinks out in the evening with the guys (never the girls – we still know how to party) is about making deals, even on Sundays you better make sure you frequent the right church to advance your network!
Kenyans are all business 24/7 – though as unproductive as the Spanish if not more. My theory: many Kenyans are not happy in their main job, hence they add side hustle after side hustle, and therefor never are all-in.
SPARK OF THE DAY
What if… we were to introduce a 4 hour workday in Kenya? My guesstimate is the we’ll be as productive managing job #1, with more free time to kill in job #2 and #3.
I dare to put my savings to a tripling of the country’s productivity…
Win – Win – Win!
