Growing up in The Netherlands, one of my favorite television shows was Pippi Langkous (Longstocking in English or Långstrump in the Swedish original).

Pippi was a true go-getter, her motto:
“I’ve never tried that before, so I think I should definitely be able to do that!”

What more inspiration does a child need?! Unfortunately when growing up, it seems only a stereotypical 50% of the people take that motto to heart. The other 50% still finds excuses in putting themselves forward…

SPARK OF THE DAY

A kind request to the 50% who recognise themselves to be holding back instead of taking the leap: the unknown is called the unknown because it hasn’t been done yet. Don’t let that stop you!

And to the other 50%: stop being your arrogant selves… don’t pretend to know everything, even if you’re convinced you actually do!

The world will be a better place for it…
