Enough has been said about the year 2020, but I think the one thing we all have in common is that it turned out differently than each one of us had planned…

What I had thought would have been my key projects for 2020 were cancelled, while other new and equally interesting opportunities came my way – changing my path towards a (yet again) different future. A future that may have come unexpected in the moment, but taking the time now and looking back this new path turns out to be not so unexpected after all! As Steve Jobs so nicely put it:

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards.”

SPARK OF THE DAY

Don’t fear doing the things and taking on the projects you’re not supposed to… in the end, “supposed to” only fits with one narrative for your destiny:

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards… so you have to trust that the dots will connect somehow in the future.“

2021 should not be about starting over, but embracing where 2020 left you off.
