Right now I’m in the middle of writing a book so when I came across “the best app to write your book” I immediately went “Oh no, is there a app for that! What did I miss!”and clicked the nice bitesize video…

To my (pleasant) surprise the video was all about how if you’re looking for an app to start writing, you’re actually wasting your time! You’re procrastinating! Try to find the reason and solve the real issue!

Besides a great lesson in differentiating between what are distractions and what’s real, I loved how I was getting drawn into following one narrative, and ended up getting punched in the face!

The makers of the video knew most people think apps are magic, and fully played it!
