Sometimes I wish I would have less confidence and belief in myself: that I would be comfortable just accepting the limitations that others see, instead of continuing to fight for what I know is possible…
These past few weeks I’ve been going back and forth to close a project with one of our partners. Everyone involved is very excited with the very innovative approach of the project, and we can’t wait to get started.
Still, the final sign-off keeps being delayed and the adjustments being asked for might make sense from a risk mitigation perspective, but at the same time the goal of the project is to change a broken status quo, and some of the adjustments risk diluting the outcome of the project.
I know that what we’re setting out to achieve is a stretch, but if it wasn’t, what would be the point of innovating through this new approach anyway?
SPARK OF THE DAY
Change is difficult. The two things you have as a visionary are your ambition to re-create reality and your drive to keep going. Therefor: never stop pushing for what you believe is possible.
& To add another cliché: if it were easy, the world wouldn’t need you to make it happen ✨
